From an air stewardess to a FoodTech Business Development role

With her presence made on the Singapore Management University’s (SMU) blog, our Business Development Executive, Shermin Toh shared how she was able to bring her hospitality skillset from her past experience as a cabin crew in the Singapore Airlines into the wholesale trade sector of Food & Beverage (F&B).


She described how the SMU course on Supply Chain and Procurement has helped her to develop a deeper understanding of the procurement process that our clients and customers in Zeemart go through day after day. This has helped her to relate more to our customers in terms of engaging them, and bringing their needs and feedback back to us so that we can improve our products and offerings further.
