A remarkable day for us - we’ve won the Grand Prize for the ASEAN-Korea Startup Summit & ComeUp 2019 IR pitching competition held in BEXCO, Busan, South Korea.
We went with a goal to present our solution to a global audience of VCs and corporates, and are glad to walk away with a vote of confidence and validation for what we're building here in Zeemart.
Today was a moment of pride for us as our co-founder, Keith Tan was handpicked to represent the startups of Singapore in the opening ceremony.
Keith presented the lighted star to our Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who was in attendance along with Korean President Moon Jae-in (문재인) and ASEAN leaders across 10 nations.
Last but certainly not least, we had the opportunity to present Zeemart to our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Vivian Balakrishnan. We thank him for his sound advice and feedback, and will take up his promise to get his help in promoting digital payments for Singapore.
